Emma started dental nursing in 2003, gaining the National Certificate in Dental Nursing qualification in 2005. Emma has worked in the field of dentistry for fifteen enjoyable years including time has spent working in general practice, orthodontics, implant dentistry, practice management and teaching.
Emma holds the City and Guilds Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning sector she teaches the National Diploma in Dental Nursing and teaches on our decontamination lead workshops.
Emma has a keen interest in Dental Implantology, she holds the Kings College Hospital Dental Implant Nursing Certificate and has been the seconded BADN council member for Dental Implants. Emma is a member of the editorial board of the Dental Nursing Journal and regularly contributes to the publication and other dental press. Emma has recently joined the Survive Alive team, providing CPR and medical emergency training specifically for dental practices.
Emma has been teaching the National Diploma in Dental Nursing since 2011.
Emma loves.... a challenge. In her spare time, you will find her indulging for her love of the great outdoors. She enjoys watching most sports, running marathons, playing football, camping and travelling.
